Webinar: Operational Resilience: From Policy to Practice

While the regulatory landscape for Operational Resilience continues to evolve, the challenge for firms in Gibraltar remains the same: How do we translate high-level policy into daily, sustainable practice? GACO is pleased to invite you to a hands-on, one hour masterclass delivered in conjunction with experts from Kroll Ireland and Spain. This session is designed specifically for Senior Compliance Officers, MLROs, Heads of Risk, and CTOs who are tasked with moving past theory and into the "heavy lifting" of implementation.
Date: 16th April 2026
Time: 11:00 AM –12:00PM (CET)
Location: Online (GACO Webinar)
In Partnership with: Kroll (Ireland & Spain)
Fee: £25 for GACO Members; £40 for Non-GACO Members
Why Attend?
This is not a session about reading the law; it is about building the framework. We will summarily touch on the legislative recitals but focus on the practicalities of resilience across diverse sectors.
A central theme of this webinar is proportionality. We recognise that a "one size fits all" approach is a recipe for inefficiency.
Key Discussion Points:
- Day-to-Day Implementation: Practical workflows for mapping critical business services and setting realistic impact tolerances.
- Overview of operational resiliency: Applicable regulations, roadmap and BAU
- Interactive Navigation: A guide to managing the balance between operational efficiency and regulatory expectations.
- The Proportionality Puzzle: Navigating complex requirements without over-engineering solutions for smaller or niche entities.
- Real-World Business Cases: Dissecting anonymised scenarios to see what successful resilience looks like in the heat of a disruption.
- Pitfall Avoidance: Identifying common "blind spots" in third-party risk management and resource dependency.
The session will conclude with a live Q&A, allowing you to pose your specific implementation challenges to our panel of specialists from Kroll’s regional hubs.
